About these terms

These terms explain the agreement between you and Lancashire Septics Ltd ("we", "us", "our") when you use this website or engage us to carry out a service. Registered company number: not yet published. Registered office: our registered office (available on request).

Using our website

You may use this website for lawful, personal or business purposes. Please do not:

  • misuse the site by knowingly introducing viruses or other harmful material;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site not intended for you;
  • copy or republish the site's content without our written permission.

Our brand, logo and website content are protected by copyright and trademark law. All rights reserved.

Bookings and quotes

Any quote we provide is based on the information you supply. If the site conditions differ materially from what you described (for example, a larger tank than expected, restricted access, or additional waste), we reserve the right to update the quote before starting the work and will always explain any change before proceeding.

Booking a service constitutes acceptance of these terms and any specific booking terms confirmed with you (for example, deposit requirements, cancellation windows, or special site instructions).

Deposits, payment and cancellation

Where a deposit is required at booking, we will make this clear before you pay. Deposits secure your slot and are set against the final invoice on completion.

If you cancel a scheduled booking:

  • more than 5 working days ahead, we refund any deposit in full;
  • within 5 working days, we may retain a proportionate charge for wasted preparation and slot loss;
  • within 24 hours of the scheduled time, we may retain the full deposit.

Exact cancellation charges will always be shown on your booking confirmation. Consumer statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.

Our service warranty

We aim to carry out every job to a high professional standard, in line with UK waste regulations and the Environment Agency's General Binding Rules where applicable. If you are not happy with our work, please let us know within 14 days and we will investigate and put things right where the issue is within our control.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for anything that cannot be excluded under UK law (including fraud and personal injury caused by negligence).

Complaints

If you have a complaint, please contact us at support@lancashireseptics.co.uk or +441616947241 in the first instance. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and provide a full response within 30 days.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you book will apply to that booking; changes will not apply retroactively.
